m.Dial is a small (around 1 MB) Windows application that does not require installation, which helps subscribers connect their personal computer to the Internet via their cell phone's modem. The application may be provided to subscribers to promote cellular network Internet access services. The following additional functions are supported: billing status information, download of RSS news feeds, and connection statistics. |

m.Dial, which uses a modem driver (supplied with Windows or with the cell phone) and access configuration parameters (both default values and values provided by the subscriber), provides Internet access to Windows applications (e.g., browsers, e-mail clients, ICQ). In addition to offering Internet access via NAS, the cellular network operator can provide the following additional features to subscribers via the m.Dial interface:
