m.Dial is a small (around 1 MB) Windows application that does not require installation, which helps subscribers connect their personal computer to the Internet via their cell phone's modem.

The application may be provided to subscribers to promote cellular network Internet access services.

The following additional functions are supported: billing status information, download of RSS news feeds, and connection statistics.

m.Dial, which uses a modem driver (supplied with Windows or with the cell phone) and access configuration parameters (both default values and values provided by the subscriber), provides Internet access to Windows applications (e.g., browsers, e-mail clients, ICQ).

In addition to offering Internet access via NAS, the cellular network operator can provide the following additional features to subscribers via the m.Dial interface:
  • reading RSS news feeds provided by an operator-installed RSS server;
  • downloading access parameters when they change or when m.Dial is updated;
  • tracking the subscriber's account balance.
The m.Dial user interface lets the user:
  • track Internet connection parameters;
  • review the Internet session log and statistics;
  • specify a list of applications that are automatically launched when m.Dial starts;
  • create connection profiles and specify connection parameters.
The distribution includes the following:
  • A software license agreement;
  • Implementation of the customer's corporate style;
  • Documentation;
  • Warranted technical support.
In addition, we can perform:
